As a Field Diesel Mechanic (Service Tech IV - Field Service), you'll perform maintenance and repairs of complex equipment with limited supervision in a safe, professional manner. You will have opportunities to improve your skills and advance into leadership roles within our Service Department, while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining and repairing complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on various rental and customer equipment, using independent judgment
• Traveling to customer sites for equipment repair and maintenance; maintaining a clean and professional service vehicle
• Assisting in training lower-level technicians as needed
• Documenting work performed via work orders accurately and promptly
• Assisting with equipment and parts pick-up and delivery
• Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• 5+ years of experience in equipment repair and maintenance
• Strong mechanical skills and knowledge of tools
• Extensive knowledge of construction equipment, schematics, and diagrams
• Own tools applicable to the position
• Excellent customer service, teamwork, and communication skills
• Ability to lift items up to 45 lbs. frequently
