Job summary

Torrey Holistics is hiring a Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel and heavy equipment at customer sites. You will handle hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems, documenting work the same day and traveling to job sites as required.

Independent problem solving and a track record of safe, quality maintenance are essential. Training will keep you current on OEM standards and equipment technologies.

Qualifications

  • Experience maintaining and repairing diesel and heavy equipment systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical issues on-site.
  • Proven ability to work independently and troubleshoot complex problems.
  • Comfort with documenting work clearly using laptops/tablets.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites and perform mobile service.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair diesel, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems on equipment.
  • Operate with independent judgment to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Work safely and model best practices on every task.
  • Use laptops/tablets for system analysis and to document work the same day.
  • Coach and assist lower-level technicians when needed.
  • Support logistics with equipment and parts pick-up/delivery.
  • Perform mobile service at customer job sites as required.
  • Keep a clean, professional service vehicle.
  • Engage in OEM training to stay current.
  • Handle additional responsibilities as assigned.

How you’ll contribute
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair diesel, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems on a wide range of equipment
  • Operate with strong independent judgment to troubleshoot complex issues
