Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Associate of Arts degree or 90 college credits in law enforcement/criminal justice preferred.
• U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or DACA recipient per RCW 41.14.100.
• Applicants must be at least 20 years old at time of application; no maximum age.
• Must pass job-related tests.

Responsibilities

• Patrol unincorporated Snohomish County to deter crimes and conduct investigations.
• Respond to reported crime scenes, secure scenes, interview victims and witnesses.
• Investigate and report accidents; administer emergency first aid until aid arrives.
• Issue notices of infraction and citations; serve warrants; transport prisoners.
• Testify in court and prepare required reports.
