Job summary

Snohomish County Sheriff's Office is seeking a Deputy to support county law enforcement functions. Responsibilities include patrolling unincorporated areas, investigating crimes, securing scenes, and providing information to the public.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; AA degree preferred.
• US citizen, lawful permanent resident, or qualified under DACA per RCW 41.14.100.
• Applicants must be at least 20 years old at time of application; no maximum age.
• Must pass job related tests and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Patrol unincorporated Snohomish County and deter crimes.
• Respond to crime scenes; secure scenes; interview victims and witnesses; gather evidence.
• Investigate accidents and administer emergency first aid.
• Issue notices of infraction, citations, warrants; serve arrest warrants.
• Interview citizens and resolve inquiries; refer to appropriate agencies.
