Job summary

AGent Energy is seeking a hands-on Field Project Manager to drive deployments for regional sites, coordinating customers, contractors, and utilities from kickoff to go-live. You will validate hardware and data flow, and stay engaged post-launch to maintain site health.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years in generator service, project engineering, commissioning, controls, or electrical contracting.
• Clear, proactive communication with customers, in person and in writing.
• Willing to travel about one week a month (closer to two during peak season).
• Hands-on on-site work comfortable and safe.

Responsibilities

• Lead each deployment from kickoff to go-live: site survey, scope, contractor scheduling, installation, testing, and handoff.
• Run several projects at once, coordinating customers, contractors, utilities, and AGent team on dates and next steps.
• Direct licensed contractors and review their work against install standards before sign-off.
• Validate every site before go-live: hardware connected, data flowing to our platform, and a successful test.
• Work with utilities on meter/data access and build relationships with utility contacts.
• Keep sites healthy after go-live: respond to hardware/connectivity alerts, coordinate repairs, and close issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, wiring, and connectivity issues onsite, hands-on when needed.
• Be the go-to technical contact for customers, and help our sales team scope sites and timelines.
• Improve kickoff checklist, install standards, and alert runbook; feed lessons back to engineering.
