Job summary

Valis is seeking a Field Deployment Engineer to own the client-side deployment lifecycle—from initial technical calls to rollout and ongoing support. You will handle technical, security, and compliance questions, while documenting and maintaining the trust pack for each client.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in a technical, client-facing role, strong experience with OAuth, APIs, SSO, and admin consoles, and hands-on use of LLM tools daily.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a technical, client-facing role: solutions engineer, sales engineer, technical account manager, implementation/integration engineer, or a backend/data engineer who has worked directly with customers.
• Hands-on with integrations: OAuth, service accounts, APIs, SSO, Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 admin, and access control.
• Comfortable with data: SQL, a data warehouse, reading logs, writing small scripts (Python or TypeScript).
• Hands-on with LLM tools in daily work: Claude, Claude Code, MCP, agents.
• You can explain a technical decision to a non-technical executive.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Own the client-facing deployment lifecycle, from first technical call to rollout and day-to-day support.
• Answer technical, security and compliance questions and maintain the trust pack.
• Run technical questionnaires and document connector availability for each client.
• Lead installation sessions and keep the install guide and FAQ up to date.
• Record deployment details and coordinate with product teams on feedback.
