Job summary

Mission Mobile Medical seeks Field Deployed Technicians to operate mobile care units (CDP) and support patient access. You will drive between sites, manage charging, and ensure the vehicle is ready for care teams each day.

You’ll apply hands-on EV and vehicle skills, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot issues on-site while delivering world-class service to patients and partners.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in field service or hands-on technical roles.
• Experience with fleet maintenance or EV service is preferred.
• Comfort with driving and basic vehicle systems.

Responsibilities

• Drive the CDP between sites and on public roads.
• Plan routes and charging strategy to avoid downtime.
• Perform Level 2 and DC fast charging sessions and diagnostics.
• Set up and secure the CDP at each site and ensure readiness for patient care.
• Troubleshoot faults and conduct preventive maintenance.

A CDP is our fully-equipped mobile medical unit — the vehicle our Field Deployed Technicians keep on the road and ready for patient care.

General Tasks

• Vehicle Operations: Drive the CDP between sites and on public roads.
• Route and Range Planning: Read range against the day’s route and plan around gaps in the charging network before they become a problem.
• Charging: Run Level 2 and DC fast charging sessions, connect and disconnect, and troubleshoot a charger that won’t start.
• Site Setup and Breakdown: Complete the arrival survey, leveling, module deployment and interlocks, and shore power, and secure the vehicle before it rolls.
• Troubleshooting: Read a fault on the interface, isolate it safely, and decide what gets fixed on site.
• Preventive Maintenance: Complete walkarounds and scheduled service, and act on the platform’s own trends before they turn into downtime.
• Escalation to MMM: Maintain a direct line back to the factory, with the platform’s telemetry history already in hand.
• Patient Interaction: Greet patients with a warm welcome as they arrive, help manage traffic flow in and around the CDP, and provide assistance when needed.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Relevant certifications (automotive, EV, or electrical trade training) preferred.
• Experience
  • Prior experience in field service, fleet maintenance, EV service, or a similar hands‑on technical role preferred.
  • Comfort with driving, basic vehicle systems, and diagnostic tools.
• Performance: Able and willing to provide world‑class service to all stakeholders

Field-based role. Field Deployed Technicians are assigned full‑time to a single CDP and travel with it between sites and on public roads.

Salary & Benefits

• 80 PTO hours available after the first 60 days of service
• Medical insurance – 100% employer contribution, participating plans
• $10K Life insurance – 100% employer contribution
• Dental/Vision – employee contribution
• 401K – 120 days eligibility is fully vested with up to a 4% match
• Weekly payday, every Friday
• Quarterly profit sharing, up to 20% of annual wages, and an Open Book Management organization
