Job summary

Mission Mobile Medical is seeking Field Deployed Technicians to support the Special Projects team. You will drive the CDP between sites, perform routine maintenance, and ensure timely patient visits.

This field-based role requires comfort with driving, EV systems, and diagnostic tools. You will set up and break down equipment, manage charging sessions, troubleshoot faults, and provide friendly, world-class service to patients and site staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; EV/automotive certifications preferred.
• Prior field service or EV maintenance experience is a plus.
• Commitment to delivering world-class service with servant leadership.

Responsibilities

• Drive the CDP between sites and on public roads.
• Plan routes and manage charging needs to avoid downtime.
• Set up and break down CDP modules at each site.
• Operate Level 2 and DC fast charging sessions; troubleshoot chargers.
• Read faults, diagnose issues, and decide on-site repairs.
• Provide friendly patient interactions and support traffic flow.

General Tasks

• Vehicle Operations: Drive the CDP between sites and on public roads.
• Route and Range Planning: Read range against the day's route and plan around gaps in the charging network before they become a problem.
• Charging: Run Level 2 and DC fast charging sessions, connect and disconnect, and troubleshoot a charger that won't start.
• Site Setup and Breakdown: Complete the arrival survey, leveling, module deployment and interlocks, and shore power, and secure the vehicle before it rolls.
• Troubleshooting: Read a fault on the interface, isolate it safely, and decide what gets fixed on site.
• Preventive Maintenance: Complete walkarounds and scheduled service, and act on the platform's own trends before they turn into downtime.
• Escalation to MMM: Maintain a direct line back to the factory, with the platform's telemetry history already in hand.
• Patient Interaction: Greet patients with a warm welcome as they arrive, help manage traffic flow in and around the CDP, and provide assistance when needed.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Relevant certifications (automotive, EV, or electrical trade training) preferred.
• Experience:
  • Prior experience in field service, fleet maintenance, EV service, or a similar hands-on technical role preferred.
  • Comfort with driving, basic vehicle systems, and diagnostic tools.
• Performance: Able and willing to provide world-class service to all stakeholders

Work Environment

Field-based role. Field Deployed Technicians are assigned full-time to a single CDP and travel with it between sites and on public roads.

Salary & Benefits

• 80 PTO hours available after the first 60 days of service
• Medical insurance - 100% employer contribution, participating plans
• $10K Life insurance - 100% employer contribution
• Dental/Vision - employee contribution
• 401K - 120 days eligibility is fully vested with up to a 4% match
• Weekly payday, every Friday
• Quarterly profit sharing, up to 20% of annual wages, and an Open Book Management organization
