Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. is seeking a Delivery Helper in Norfolk, VA to load, locate job sites, and assist with unloading and preparing materials for daily deliveries.

You will ensure safety compliance with OSHA and DOT guidelines and help maintain truck and equipment while supporting the driving team. The role requires the ability to lift up to 75 lbs, good communication, and the stamina to work in a potentially outdoor, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Able to read and write and communicate information accurately.
• Stamina to lift at least 75 lbs.
• Ability to work independently and on a team; good communication.

Responsibilities

• Load materials and locate job sites; backings and preparing the site.
• Safely unload product and deliver to the assigned area per customer directions.
• Perform pre-trip inspections of equipment, paperwork and loaded product for accuracy.
• Navigate routes to the job site and secure materials on the truck and at the site.
