Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. is seeking a Delivery Helper to support loading, locating job sites, backing, preparing and restoring the job site, and maintaining the truck and equipment for daily deliveries at Lancaster, CA.

This role emphasizes safety, accuracy in paperwork, and efficient handling of materials. Responsibilities include safety compliance with OSHA/DOT, performing pre-trip inspections, unloading products, securing loads, and navigating to sites.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and communicate information accurately.
• Stamina to lift at least 75 lbs to carry materials such as drywall materials and joint compound.

Responsibilities

• Compliance with company, state and federal guidelines, particularly OSHA and DOT, for safety of all personnel.
• Perform pre-trip inspections of equipment, paperwork and loaded product to ensure accuracy of orders.
• Safely unload product and deliver to the assigned area as directed by the customer.
• Secure mud, equipment, metal, and pallet on the truck.
• Navigate routes to the job site.
