Job summary

Diakon Logistics, Inc. is seeking an experienced Delivery & Assembly Supervisor to oversee white-glove last-mile operations for furniture and appliance deliveries. You will assess contractor quality, onboard new teams, and uphold safety and service standards.

The role emphasizes hands-on field work, regular ride-alongs, and detailed feedback to improve timeliness, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. Travel to field locations is required and a vehicle allowance supports field mobility.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years as a furniture delivery/assembly contractor.
• Ability to evaluate contractor work quality and compliance.
• Experience conducting ride-along audits or field assessments.
• Knowledge of furniture delivery safety and assembly standards.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently with a valid license.

Responsibilities

• Contractor evaluation, onboarding, and performance criteria development.
• Ride-along audits to assess delivery and assembly performance.
• Document observations and provide feedback to contractors and teams.
• Monitor delivery timeliness, damage rates, and customer satisfaction.
• Generate quality reports and recommend improvements.
• Provide coaching and training on standards and best practices.
• Investigate customer complaints and resolve issues with contractors.
