Job summary

RJN Group, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Technician 1 to support field inspections of sanitary and storm sewers and to assist with data analysis and quality control. You will work with staff to collect and edit data, maintain equipment, and ensure adherence to safety procedures.

The role requires a BS in a technical field (or 2 years related experience), strong analytical skills, and proficiency with Excel/Word. Travel and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering, planning or environmental science, or equivalent experience.
• Strong math and analytical capabilities.
• Proficient with data handling and editing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Conduction of field inspection services such as manhole inspection, smoke testing, flow monitoring, and dyed water flooding including confined space entry work.
• Assist with maintaining and cleaning equipment and vehicles to ensure safe, productive work.
• Follow Safety Manual and SOPs at all times.
• Process project information by compiling, coding, and auditing data.
• Perform routine data QC and processing.
• Analyze data to identify underlying principles and facts.
• Travel and work overtime as required.
• Assist on other projects as assigned.
