Insight Global is seeking a Data Center Technician for a top fiber infrastructure client in the Phoenix market. The role blends data center, fiber, and network duties to support a rapidly expanding environment.

The technician will conduct field visits, document fiber routes and equipment locations, assist in outage investigations, and create network diagrams while working closely with engineering and field operations. On-call rotation and weekend coverage are part of the role.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in data center, telecom, fiber, or network infra.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field visits to data centers, vaults, and network facilities.
• Document fiber routes, rack layouts, and equipment locations.
• Support outage investigations and identify fiber breaks.
• Create diagrams, maps, and network documentation.
• Partner with engineering, field operations, and remote support teams.
• Participate in on-call rotation for outage response, including weekends.
