Job summary

OpenAI is seeking a solutions engineer to partner with Enterprise customers and ensure tangible business value from the OpenAI suite of products. You will guide AI strategy, identify high-value use cases, and demonstrate secure, scalable patterns to kickstart implementations.

You’ll work with senior stakeholders and security teams to translate requirements into practical architectures while balancing risk, safety, and performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing advisory roles in cybersecurity.
• Strong understanding of application security, cloud security, and incident response.
• Ability to translate business needs into secure AI workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead cyber workflow discovery with customers across AppSec, DevSecOps, SOC/IR, detection engineering.
• Build and deliver customer-facing demos, workshops, proofs of concept, reference architectures.
• Scope pilots with clear success criteria, data requirements, integrations, evaluation criteria.
• Advise on safe implementation patterns including guardrails, data handling, and human approval gates.
• Translate between CISOs and practitioners, communicating value and risk clearly.
• Create reusable assets like playbooks, FAQs, and assessment templates.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Security, and GTM teams to address gaps.
