Job summary

Accenture in California seeks a senior cloud leader to drive enterprise transformations on Google Cloud, designing secure foundations, migrating workloads, and modernizing applications. You’ll guide offshore teams, set technical strategy, and deliver production-grade solutions with rapid time-to-value.

You will manage end-to-end delivery, ensure governance, and engage with clients at the exec level while shaping platform engineering best practices across microservices and IaC.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years in hands-on, client-facing technology roles with 5+ years architecting on Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience owning client engagements from design through go-live with strong technical leadership.
• 3+ years with Terraform, VPC networking, GKE, Apigee, Cloud Run, CI/CD pipelines.
• 3+ years implementing security-by-design (IAM, encryption, network segmentation) with modern software practices.
• 5+ years leading distributed global engineering teams and communicating with executives.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 12 years experience if no degree; 6 years with Associate's degree.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery end-to-end as the single accountability for scope, schedule, platform security, and outcomes.
• Design migration waves, application refactoring patterns, and deployment cadences to maximize velocity.
• Provide technical advisory on GCP landing zones, container orchestration, and API gateways.
• Lead cross-border delivery by coordinating onshore leadership with offshore engineers.
• Drive time-to-value by standing up platform foundations and migrating workloads in weeks.
• Enforce governance with automated deployments, CI/CD, testing strategies, and SRE readiness.
