Job summary

Keystone Cooperative, Inc. seeks a Crop Technician Intern to support field diagnostics throughout the growing season. You will scout fields, collect tissue samples, perform soil moisture probing, soil sampling, and assist with UAV flights while supporting the Ag Tech team with timely, informed decisions.

The role emphasizes fieldwork, data collection, and hands-on learning in agronomy. A valid driver’s license and ability to travel 100% in the territory are required, with a flexible schedule and

Qualifications

• Must be able to work outdoors for extended periods in all weather conditions.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to learn quickly.
• Self-motivated and able to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Agronomy students preferred, however any student with interest in ag is considered.
• Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record, and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to use an iPad, GPS software, and field equipment.

Responsibilities

• Scout fields and create scouting reports identifying weeds, insects, diseases, growth stages, stand counts, and anomalies.
• UAV flights to observe fields, capture imagery, and collect data.
• Tissue sampling of corn or soybean for testing.
• Soil moisture probing and data reporting to Ag Tech team.
