Job summary

Seattle Seahawks is seeking a Part-time Field Crew member to support the Field department during shifts under the Field Lead. You will help prepare and maintain the playing surface for games and events, including painting, equipment handling and field setup.

The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to follow directions. A valid driver’s license and forklift certification are preferred. This on-site position typically averages 20–30 hours per week during the season.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• CPR and first aid certification preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Able to work evenings, weekends and holidays when needed.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily Field department tasks under Field Lead.
• Paint field using brushes, rollers, and machines.
• Remove field paint using approved methods.
• Install and remove field protection equipment and barriers.
• Set up and strike gameday field sets per directions.
• Operate tools and equipment including forklifts and carts.
• Assist in landscape and hardscape maintenance.
• Contribute to special projects as assigned.
• Work extended hours as required.

Summary

Responsible for executing the daily activities and tasks of the Field department for each shift with direction from the Field Lead.

Job Title: Field Crew Part Time

Department: Fields

Reports To: Field Lead

Rate: Position starts at $26.75/ hour

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Ability to use painting products on the field including the use of straight edges and bender boards, stringing lines; positioning of logos, equipment and tools to increase overall efficiency, painting the field using brushes, rollers, power painting machines and other methods


• Removal of field paint using approved chemicals and methods


• Understand and execute field maintenance techniques


• Installation and removal of field protection equipment including polyethylene barriers, field protection systems, plywood and other materials


• Responsible for implementing all Gameday field sets and strikes as communicated by Field Lead and Supervisor


• Must be able to operate a variety of equipment and tools including hand and power tools, paint machines, forklifts, tractors, paint extraction machinery, operate gas and electric carts, etc


• Assist in landscape and hardscape maintenance projects


• Assist in special projects as assigned


• Other assignments as required

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be 18 years of age or older


• Must possess a valid driver’s license

• Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills


• Requires knowledge in field maintenance and or problem-solving


• Possession of or ability to obtain a current CPR and first aid certificate

• Must be trained and certified to operate a forklift and other equipment


• Able to work extended hours and available to work evenings, weekends and holidays when necessary

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers


• The employee is required to stand, sit, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The position requires up to 75% standing and walking, 5% sitting and 20% lifting/carrying


• The employee is frequently required to lift to 75 pounds


• The vision requirements include ability to adjust focus, peripheral vision and close vision


• Individuals working in this position may be exposed to outside weather conditions

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including periods of extended hours, some evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
