Job summary

MCIS is seeking a Foreman to oversee field crews, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and per project requirements. The role reports to the Site Superintendent and acts as the first line of leadership on site, driving daily productivity, safety, and quality.

The Foreman will support the Basic Installation Unit (BIU) by managing crew execution, tracking manpower readiness, and providing real-time status updates on work, materials, and equipment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as Foreman/Lead in construction
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and OSHA safety practices
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schedules, and construction documents

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise field crews to ensure tasks are completed on time and according to plans and specifications
• Communicate daily assignments, goals, and safety expectations to team members
• Provide hands-on guidance, training, and mentorship to less experienced workers
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials
• Support BIU leadership by tracking manpower, materials, and equipment needs at crew level
• Report crew readiness and progress into BIU updates including daily accomplishments and challenges
• Participate in BIU planning sessions to align crew tasks with manpower laydowns and schedules
• Monitor crew performance against BIU standards and SOPs
• Assist in incident response by coordinating crew-level adjustments and contingency plans
• Coordinate with Site Superintendent to schedule inspections with authorities or third parties
• Track daily progress and report completed work, delays, material shortages, and issues
• Ensure materials are staged, stored, and installed to support operations
• Identify risks or conflicts at crew level and address them
