Qualifications

• Seven years in the mechanical field with at least three years as a Journeyman.
• Understanding of construction scheduling and cost control.
• Ability to follow oral and written directions, read blueprints, and apply math skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and enforce safety policies.
• Capable of coordinating crews, materials, and equipment on site.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate worker activity to ensure safety, accuracy, and timeliness.
• Instruct crews on work activities and interpret orders, sketches, and blueprints.
• Inspect work quality to meet company standards and project specs.
• Manage materials, equipment, and tools and monitor production.
• Enforce safety rules and track schedules and costs on site.
• Study schedules, estimate labor requirements, and adjust sequences as needed.
