Job summary

Capital Pump & Equipment in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Field Crew Leader to supervise a team of Field Installers serving pumps and equipment on job sites. This hands-on leadership role focuses on safety, reliability, and on-time project execution.

You will coach crew members, ensure PPE compliance, perform basic maintenance, and maintain clear communication with customers. A valid driver's license is required; CDL is a plus.

Qualifications

• Prior experience leading a team in a related field (construction, equipment installation/repair, etc.).
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
• Team player with a safety-first mindset.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment and tools.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Forklift certification is a plus, or willingness to obtain certification within 90 days (training provided).
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in extreme temperatures.
• Experience in the rental pump industry is a plus; CDL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of crew members in installation and/or removal of pumps and related equipment.
• Test and inspect equipment and components to ensure safety and proper functionality.
• Operate and maintain small hand and power tools for field work.
• Ensure crew follows safety protocols and uses PPE at all times.
• Address safety concerns promptly on-site.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance on equipment in the field.
• Maintain professional communication with customers and team members.

The Role

We are seeking a Field Crew Leader to join our growing team in Salt Lake City, UT! In this hands-on role, you'll work alongside a team of Field Installers to support the set up and service of pumps and equipment on job sites.
