Job summary

The Washington Department of Natural Resources is hiring a Washington Conservation Corps (WCC) Crew Supervisor 1. This role involves supervising a crew of five members on various natural resource assignments, such as habitat and recreational enhancement.

This position requires in-person fieldwork with a typical schedule of Monday to Thursday. It demands strong leadership skills, project management experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in field work, youth mentorship, or outdoor leadership.
• Experience in emergency response, hazardous spills, firefighting, or habitat restoration.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor WCC crew members on natural resource assignments.
• Evaluate performance and provide feedback to crew members.
• Manage conservation projects and ensure equipment maintenance.
