Job summary

Texas Native in Hutto, TX is seeking a General Laborer to join our growing production team. General Laborers perform general clean-up tasks in the yard production area and grinding field sites, maintaining a professional demeanor with customers and coworkers.

Ideal candidates are able to work ~60 hours/week (overtime possible), can operate basic equipment, and pass a drug screen. Safety gear and outdoor work conditions are a routine part of the role.

Qualifications

• Ability to work ± 60 hours per week including Saturdays.
• Experience with skid steers, tractors and mowers preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Must pass a drug screen.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs frequently.
• Able to stand for long periods and walk short distances.
• Able to bend and stoop throughout the day.
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders.
• Outdoor work exposure to heat, cold, dust and noise.
• Willing to travel to different job locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform general clean-up duties within the yard production area and/or grinding field sites.
• Safely and efficiently operate equipment such as skid steers, tractors, lawn mowers, and weed-eaters (training provided if needed)
• Conduct basic equipment inspections, and report maintenance needs
• Report all accidents and injuries, regardless of severity.
• Follow all SOPs and processes related to general clean-up duties within the production and job-site area.
• Safety gear is required and expected to be always worn (safety toe shoes/boots, vest, hard hat, & gloves)
• Assume other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned by management.

Job Qualifications

• Ability to work ± 60 hours per week to include Saturdays with overtime (hours not guaranteed)
• Skidsteer, tractor and mower experience preferred.
• Bilingual is preferred
• Must pass a drug screen
• Must be able to lift up to 70lbs frequently and involving repetitive motion
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and walk for short periods
• Must be able to bend and stoop throughout the workday (lifting debris, using shovels, etc.)
• Must be able to climb and descend stairs and ladders
• Must be able to work in outdoor environment with exposure to heat, cold, dust and noise.
• Must be able to travel to different job locations
