Job summary

Morgan Engineering is seeking a full-time Crane Service Manager to join our team. You will assemble, install, wire, and commission overhead cranes at customer sites across the United States, performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 3–5 years crane service experience, and the ability to travel 75–90%. Welding and OSHA crane-safety familiarity are a plus; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of crane service, maintenance or related field.
• Welding experience is a plus; strong electrical/mechanical/hydraulic knowledge.
• Able to read blueprints and use metrological instruments (e.g., micrometers).
• Basic organization, communication and problem-solving skills; OSHA crane safety knowledge.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to travel 75–90% and pass background/drug checks.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, wire, and commission Morgan industrial overhead cranes at customer sites nationwide.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on overhead cranes.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems, including AC and DC components.
• Work in field-based environments at industrial sites and manufacturing facilities.
• Safely operate at heights and with heavy equipment in varying weather conditions.
