Job summary

Konecranes in Livermore, CA seeks a CAL/OSHA Field Inspector to perform compliance inspections and preventive maintenance on cranes and derricks, in line with Title 8 regulations.

The role requires five years of crane-related experience, knowledge of OSHA Title 8, ANSI and SAE standards, and willingness to travel. You will document findings, advise customers, and create accurate electronic reports.

A associate degree is preferred; a valid driver's license and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• Five years of related crane or derrick experience.
• Education may be substituted with related training/experience.
• Must possess good driving record and be willing/able to travel.

Responsibilities

• Inspect cranes/derricks per established guidelines and regulations.
• Complete monthly inspection schedules and preventive maintenance.
• Document findings and issue safety notifications or repair recommendations.
• Prepare accurate electronic inspection reports and obtain customer signatures.
• Coordinate with service supervisor and provide data for quotations.
