Job summary

Maxim Crane Works, LP is seeking a Crawler A/D Director to supervise the assembly or disassembly of scheduled crawler crane movements and to ensure safe field operations and customer satisfaction on job sites.

The role requires in-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations, the ability to read lift plans and rigging drawings, and coordination with regional managers. Frequent travel and weekend work are required for this union position.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED (required).
• Associates or vocational degree preferred.
• Commercial Driver's License preferred.
• NCCCO Certification preferred.
• TWIC card preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand and apply crane regulations per 29 CFR 1926.1403-1926.1406 and 192.1412.
• Complete On-Rent and Off-Rent inspections, site orientation, annual inspections, lift plans and requirements.
• Upload inspections and photos to One-Drive per policy.
• Coordinate site visits to confirm assembly area, truck staging and safety needs.
• Maintain contact with Regional Crawler Managers and Branch personnel during assembly/disassembly.
• Discuss initiatives, issues and best practices with leadership during field calls.
• Assist to create and share inventory of attachments and components.
• Assist with verification of job-specific load lists and locating crane components.
• Control costs and communicate delays promptly to supervisor.
• Must have OSHA knowledge and be able to pass safety requirements.
