Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Courier to move materials from the company’s warehouse and area vendors to Georgetown, TX job sites. This role requires outdoor work in various weather conditions and strict safety awareness.

You will follow efficient routes, deliver documents and packages, obtain signatures, and report deliveries to the office. A clean driving record and the ability to pass a background check are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 2+ years of experience.
• Clean driving record.
• Knowledge of surrounding area roads and highways.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Moving materials from the Company's warehouse and area vendors to various job sites using M.C. Dean, Inc. vehicles.
• Checking with the corporate office after completed deliveries in order to confirm deliveries and collections and to receive instructions for other deliveries.
• Delivering messages and items such as documents and packages between Company divisions and job sites.
• Obtaining signatures and payments or arranging for recipients to make payments.
• Planning and following the most efficient routes for delivering goods.
• Receiving messages or materials to be delivered, and information on recipients, such as names, addresses, telephone numbers, and delivery instructions, communicated via telephone, two-way radio, or in person.
• Recording information such as items received and delivered and recipients' responses to messages.
• Sorting items to be delivered according to the delivery routes.
