Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Courier to move materials from the company’s warehouse to Georgetown, TX job sites. A clean driving record, familiarity with area roads, and ability to work outdoors in varying weather are required.

You will plan efficient routes, confirm deliveries with the office, obtain signatures, and relay messages between divisions while maintaining a professional presence around customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 2+ years of experience.
• Clean driving record.
• Knowledge of surrounding area roads and highways.
• Must successfully pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Moving materials from the Company’s warehouse and area vendors to various job sites using M.C. Dean, Inc. vehicles.
• Checking with the corporate office after completed deliveries in order to confirm deliveries and collections and to receive instructions for other deliveries.
• Delivering messages and items such as documents and packages between Company divisions and job sites.
• Obtaining signatures and payments or arranging for recipients to make payments.
• Planning and following the most efficient routes for delivering goods.
• Receiving messages or materials to be delivered, and information on recipients, such as names, addresses, telephone numbers, and delivery instructions, communicated via telephone, two-way radio, or in person.
• Recording information such as items received and delivered and recipients’ responses to messages.
• Sorting items to be delivered according to the delivery routes.
