Job summary

Corrpro Companies, a corrosion engineering and monitoring leader, is seeking a Field Corrosion Technician to support cathodic protection projects across infrastructure sites. You will perform testing, installation, and data collection on CP systems, guided by senior staff, and prepare field reports.

Travel is required to client sites weekly, including possible weekend work. The role offers competitive pay, overtime, per diem, and company-provided tools, vehicle, and support for certifications.

Qualifications

• Coursework or Associates in Corrosion Technology preferred.
• AMPP CP Tester Certification preferred.
• 2+ years of cathodic protection survey experience or education required.
• Strong team, internal customer service skills and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to travel overnight to customer sites each week and, if needed, over the weekend.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing, evaluation and installation of cathodic protection systems to inhibit corrosion on various structures.
• Work with senior staff on customer drawings and specifications.
• Conduct test procedures to gather data for evaluation.
• Gather structure-to-soil data, soil measurements and rectifier data.
• Sketch rectifiers, anodes, test stations on prepared drawings.
• Assist in survey and final client reports.
