Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Counseling or equivalent years of experience required.
Minimum five (5) years’ experience handling workforce development programs.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent knowledge of adult education principles and best practices.
Strong written and verbal communication and leadership skills.
Excellent presentation and organizational skills.
Must be able to travel to various sites in the New York Metropolitan area.
Available to work flexible hours including evenings and Saturdays.
Responsibilities
Communicate and coordinate activities with union organizers and employers.
Develop and coordinate labor-management committee meetings.
Market and promote education and career programs.
Recruit and manage program participants.
Prepare and process vendor schedules and payments.
Research vendors and negotiate agreements.
Analyze participant data and oversee program logistics.
