Job summary

InfraHire is seeking a Controls/Service Technician to service commercial DDC systems in Mobile, AL. You will diagnose issues with controllers, sensors, actuators, wiring, and networks while supporting startups and commissioning tasks.

Responsibilities include verifying HVAC control sequences, documenting service work, and communicating with customers on repairs and recommendations. Knowledge of Niagara/Tridium and major brands will help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of commercial HVAC control systems and DDC platforms.
• Ability to diagnose and repair controllers, sensors, actuators, and field devices.
• Experience with communication protocols (BACnet, Modbus) is a plus.
• Proficiency reading control drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Strong communication with customers and documentation of service work.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial DDC systems.
• Diagnose issues with controllers, sensors, actuators, field devices, wiring, and networks.
• Perform point-to-point checkout, system startups, commissioning support, and testing.
• Troubleshoot HVAC control sequences for proper operation.
• Coordinate with engineering/project/installation teams as needed.
• Document work, findings, and recommendations clearly.
