PTR Global is seeking a skilled Service Technician for commercial DDC controls in Mobile, Alabama. This role focuses on service, troubleshooting, and repairs within building automation systems, with opportunities to grow as the service division expands.

Qualifications

• Experience with commercial DDC systems (Niagara, Honeywell, Schneider, etc.).
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and sequences of operation.
• Ability to troubleshoot controls, wiring, and communication networks (BACnet, Modbus, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Perform service, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial DDC control systems.
• Diagnose system issues including controllers, sensors, networks, and field devices.
• Execute system startups, commissioning support, and point-to-point verification.
• Perform preventative maintenance and system optimization.
• Communicate with customers to explain issues and solutions clearly.
• Document service activities, deficiencies, and recommendations.
• Assist in identifying service opportunities and upgrades.
• Work closely with engineering and project teams when needed.
