Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Controls Systems Technician to perform system commissioning in the field, load controller software, and diagnose basic HVAC and controls issues at customer sites. This role focuses on reliable service, clear communication, and efficient building operations.

The position requires hands-on use of calibration tools, basic electrical knowledge, and the ability to work safely on-site, with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits.

Formación

• Demonstrated technical aptitude.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls systems.
• Ability to use basic electronic test equipment for calibration and diagnostics.
• Ability to meet local licensing requirements for mounting and termination of low-voltage devices, where applicable.
• Effective communication and listening skills.

Responsabilidades

• Perform assigned system commissioning using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools.
• Load system-level controller software.
• Perform basic commissioning and system diagnostics from system-level controllers to end devices such as sensors and actuators.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls problems.
• Respond to basic warranty calls and provide service-related support at customer sites.
• Calibrate systems using basic electronic test equipment.
• Complete commissioning documentation, time sheets, expense reports, on-site documentation, and as-built updates.
• Communicate job progress, issues, arrival, and completion status with management, contractors, and customers.
• Provide recommendations and solutions to help improve facility efficiency and support quoting needs.
• Follow all safety standards and attend required safety training.
