Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking an HVAC commissioning technician responsible for loading controller software, diagnosing system issues, and providing service enhancements at customer sites.

The role emphasizes clear communication, safety adherence, and accurate documentation of changes and test results. You will troubleshoot basic HVAC mechanical and electrical problems, respond to warranty calls, and act as a trusted advisor to deliver effective efficiency solutions.

Qualifications

• HVAC controls systems knowledge and facilities management experience.
• Three years of industry experience or 4+ years servicing HVAC systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to represent Johnson Controls.
• PC proficiency and ability to program HVAC software.

Responsabilités

• Loads system-level controller software.
• Performs basic commissioning and system diagnostics from system-level controllers to end devices (sensors, actuators).
• Keeps management and contractor or customer informed of progress and issues.
• Calibrates systems with basic electronic test equipment.
• Completes administrative tasks including timesheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation.
• Documents changes and provides information for as-built documentation.
• Communicates with the contractor or customer on arrival and before leaving the work site.
• Follows all safety standards and required training; emphasizes safety for all staff.
• Provides recommendations and quotes to improve facility efficiency.
