Qualifications

• Two years commercial controls troubleshooting experience in HVAC.
• Vocational School program or associate degree in a technical field, or two years’ experience in servicing electronic and/or mechanical systems.
• Ability to install and/or service electronic control systems and HVAC equipment.
• Effective communication skills to represent Johnson Controls on customer sites.
• Ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people.
• Demonstrate writing skills and understanding of programs and software.
• Knowledge of control theory, automatic temperature controls and building automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs complex control system malfunctions and tests software changes.
• Provides field proposals for retrofits, upgrades or enhancements to existing equipment.
• Mentors technicians on building automation activities and documents service activities.
• Ensures high levels of customer satisfaction and coordinates with project teams.
• Assists in designing and configuring building control systems per contract.
