Job summary

Thermo Systems seeks an entry-level technician to support control system projects and service teams. You will travel to client sites for installations, maintenance, and repairs, collaborating with project leads and supervisors to ensure successful outcomes.

Ideal candidates have an A.S./A.S. in Engineering Technology or related field, 0–3 years of experience, and a basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems. Strong safety practices and customer-facing professionalism are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate degree or equivalent; 0–3 years of industry experience.
• Willingness to travel to client locations for installations and service.
• Proficiency with basic electrical and mechanical skills and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installation, start-up and commissioning of control systems.
• Perform instrument loop checks and calibrations.
• Troubleshoot and repair control systems; document work performed.
• Wire instruments and control panels and interpret wiring diagrams.
• Develop understanding of HMI and PLC applications; support FAT.
• Follow QMS procedures and maintain professional relationships with customers.
