Johnson Controls is seeking a Controls Systems Associate Technician 3 to join our team in a hands-on role focused on commissioning, troubleshooting, and service delivery for building control systems.

You will load system-level software, perform diagnostics, calibrate equipment, and maintain clear communication with customers and internal teams. A strong safety ethos and attention to detail are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated technical aptitude.
• Able to use hand and power tools (i.e., drills, saws).
• Basic computer skills required.
• Attention to detail.
• Effective communication and listening skills.
• Depending on location, mounting/termination of low voltage devices may require special licensing.

Responsibilities

• Loads system-level controller software.
• Performs basic commissioning and system diagnostics.
• Keeps stakeholders informed of progress and issues.
• Calibrates systems with basic test equipment.
• Completes time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation.
• Documents changes for as-built documentation.
• Communicates with customers on arrival and before leaving site.
• Adheres to safety standards and training.
• Provides recommendations to improve facility efficiency and upsell opportunities.
• Prepares quotes to support recommendations.
