We are a small, high-impact team where decisions directly shape multi-million-dollar programs. The Electrical and Controls Technician role ensures rigorous checkout and FAT readiness for our modules and supports startup and commissioning on hyperscale sites.

Qualifications

• Journeyman-level electrical credential or 3+ years as an industrial E&I technician.
• Hands-on industrial wiring and checkout experience: panels, MCCs, VFDs, field instruments.
• Able to read schematics, loop sheets, and panel drawings.
• Test equipment fluency: multimeter, megger, process calibrator.
• LOTO and NFPA 70E safe-work discipline.
• Careful, honest documentation habits.

Responsibilities

• Perform point-to-point checks from field devices through panels to controllers, and document every point.
• QC terminations: torque, labeling, ferrules, shield landing, and separation practice per drawings.
• Support instrument loop checks with process calibrators and multimeters under the controls engineer's direction.
• Load VFD parameters, verify motor rotation, and support first-run checks.
• Execute panel checkout: power-up checks, I/O verification, fuse and breaker verification, and wiring corrections.
• Run megger and continuity tests under the electrical engineer's supervision and record results.
• Maintain calibrated test equipment and the E&C tool crib.
• Red-line drawings accurately as built and turn in clean documentation.
• Assist FAT execution and client witness days for the electrical and controls scope.
