Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a seasoned PLC SCADA engineer to support industrial control systems for critical infrastructure projects. You will perform maintenance, testing, startup/integration and troubleshooting of PLC SCADA hardware and software at client sites.

You'll work on commissioning and start-up activities, program PLC and HMI, and travel 15–20% for a 1–2 week assignments. The role requires engineering degree and willingness to work nights/weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Engineering degree required.
• CCST certification preferred (ISA).
• Hands-on field instrumentation experience in control systems.
• Night and weekend work often required for critical systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, testing, startup/integration and troubleshooting of PLC SCADA systems.
• Program PLC and HMI code; assist with SCADA hardware/software commissioning.
• Travel 15–20% for multi-week assignments.
• Collaborate with client sites and project teams.
