Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Automation Field Engineer to support installation, commissioning, and service of industrial and building automation systems. The role requires hands-on controls expertise with PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and field networks.

You will travel to customer sites, work with project teams, interpret diagrams, troubleshoot, and program PLC/HMI/SCADA solutions. A technical degree or equivalent experience and the ability to work independently in the field

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in industrial automation or building automation.
Hands-on experience with PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
Experience with automation system commissioning and startup.
Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Support installation, commissioning, startup, and service of automation systems.
Interpret operations sequences and troubleshoot control systems.
Program and deploy PLC, HMI, DDC, and SCADA applications.
Work with PLCs and SCADA programming methods and ladder logic.
Travel to customer/project sites as required.
