Job summary

Tri Star Energy is seeking a Field Construction Technician I to join our Facility Construction team in Springfield, TN. This role involves hands-on construction site tasks, material handling, and operating heavy equipment on active projects with daily site travel.

The ideal candidate has construction experience, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to work across multiple sites, supporting our pump maintenance and field construction department. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• Valid State issued Driver’s License.
• 7+ years of construction or related experience OR 4+ years in fuel service/petroleum construction.
• Willingness to travel to active existing and under construction sites daily.
• Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties on construction sites.
• Loads and unloads building materials.
• Completes daily cleanup of jobsites, including barricading when needed.
• Assists the graphics department with interior and exterior imaging.
• Maintains and operates hand and power tools.
• Performs digging, backfilling, and earth movement for construction projects.
• Lifts, mixes, pours, and finishes concrete.
• Supports environmental incident response and cleanup.
• Assists Field Construction Technician II, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Operates and maintains equipment and heavy machinery.
• Installs or replaces petroleum storage tanks and ancillary equipment.
• Keeps information confidential and adheres to company policies.
