Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking full-time and part-time temporary Construction Technicians to operate heavy equipment (wheel loaders, excavators, dozers, and compaction equipment) at various sites. The role requires U.S.

citizenship due to project requirements and offers hands-on training and safety-focused work environments. Responsibilities include site prep, material handling, and supporting craft workers across multiple remediation sites, with potential for on-site learning and growth, at outdoor

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of experience in construction/remediation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain construction equipment and machines.
• Assist other equipment operators, carpenters, and skilled labor as needed.
• Prep construction/remediation sites by clearing obstacles and hazards.
• Load or unload construction materials and debris.
• Assemble and dismantle temporary structures to support tasks.
• Move earth by removing, filling, transporting, or compacting.
• Follow supervisor instructions.
• Assist craft workers.
• Be ready for on-the-job training.
• Perform site clean-up.
