Job summary

DirtPrep Solutions is seeking a Construction Technology Sales Representative in San Diego, CA. This field-based role focuses on new business development and expanding existing customer relationships within the construction sector.

You will drive revenue by prospecting, coordinating demonstrations, and closing deals, with support from the technical team to tailor solutions to customer needs and projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum sales or business development experience in a field-based role.
• Ability to prospect, develop relationships, and close business.
• Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory and work at construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for and develop new customers throughout the assigned territory.
• Manage and grow relationships with existing customers.
• Identify projects, contractors, and sales opportunities via jobsite visits, referrals, networking, and outreach.
• Build relationships with construction decision-makers and stakeholders.
• Assess customer needs and recommend DirtPrep Solutions products and services.
• Sell construction technology solutions including machine control, GPS/GNSS, and related services.
• Coordinate with technical staff for demonstrations and product evaluations.
• Prepare quotes and proposals and manage opportunities through negotiation and close.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and CRM records.
• Develop and execute territory plans to meet revenue targets.
