Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Construction Tech to support heavy equipment operations at sites across Wisconsin. You will operate and maintain equipment, assist other crew members, and prep sites for construction and remediation tasks.

Requirements include a High School Diploma, at least 1 year in construction/remediation, a valid driver's license, and being 18 or older. The job is largely outdoors, demanding physical labor and the ability to work in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the construction/remediation industry.
• Must have a valid driver license in good standing.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Punctual and reliable workers are needed.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Ability to perform physical labor and other strenuous tasks.
• Must have experience in the construction/remediation industry.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain construction equipment and machines.
• Assist other equipment operators and skilled labor when necessary.
• Prepare sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards.
• Load or unload construction materials and debris.
• Assemble and disassemble temporary structures and apparatuses.
• Move earth, fill, transport, or compact as needed.
• Follow supervisor instructions.
• Assist craft workers.
• Be open to on-the-job training.
• Perform site clean-up.
