Tetra Tech is looking for full time and part time temporary Construction Technicians who will perform tasks involving heavy equipment operations at various sites. Shall have the ability to operate safely, efficiently, and effectively wheel loaders, excavators, dozers, and compaction equipment. This position requires the employee to be a U.S. Citizen due to the projects they will be working on.

May operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments. May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, excavate pits, install shoring and other trench safety apparatuses, and clean up rubble, debris, and other waste materials. May assist other craft workers.
Salary range is between $33-37 per hour
A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in the construction and remediation industry, preferred.
Must have valid driver license in good standing. Commercial Class A License preferred.

Work environments include remediation sites, sites requiring traffic controls, remote locations supporting Cal-Fire and US Forest Service operations and general commercial and industrial construction activities. Majority of work performed will be outside and can include work during inclement weather and temperatures ranging from freezing to above 100 degrees F.
Must be fluent in the English language – speaking, reading, and writing.
Must possess basic math skills.
