Job summary

Ajax Building Company, part of STO Building Group, seeks a hands-on Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations in Florida. You will manage craft and subcontractor teams, interpret drawings, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to high client standards.

Ideal candidates have 5–8+ years of supervisory construction experience, a CM degree preferred, and strong communication and organizational skills to motivate teams and meet project goals.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years of supervisory experience in the construction field.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational and supervisory skills.
• Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction, safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise total construction effort to meet design, budget and schedule, interfacing with client representatives and other contractors.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise on-site functions.
• Supervise craft employees and other contractors as required by the contract.
• Provide technical assistance, interpret drawings, and recommend construction methods and equipment.
• Ensure on-site personnel comply with project procedures and safety requirements.
• Promote a safe work environment and accountable productivity.
