Job summary

Ajax Building Company, part of the STO Building Group, seeks a hands-on Superintendent who thrives in the field and takes pride in delivering exceptional projects. You will lead day-to-day field operations, manage craft and subcontractor teams, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to high client standards.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of relevant supervisory experience in the construction field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational and supervisory skills.
• Thorough knowledge of construction methods, safety requirements, and project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, evaluate, and manage craft personnel.
• Supervise craft employees, subcontractors, and field operations to ensure work aligns with design, budget, and schedule.
• Plan and oversee daily on-site activities including manpower, materials, equipment, and sequencing.
• Interpret drawings and specifications; advise on construction methods and equipment.
