Job summary

JF Petroleum Group is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead on-site activities for projects in Omaha, NE. You will supervise subcontractors, ensure safety and schedule adherence, and communicate with customers and staff to meet project requirements.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, 3+ years' experience, and ability to operate tools with physical stamina. Occasional travel and after-hours work are expected.

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or GED required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in this position.
• Able to work in all weather conditions - outdoors.
• Willing to travel.
• Able to safely operate industry-specific tools and equipment.
• Must pass drug screen, criminal background check, and MVR if driving for the company.
• Physical ability to repetitively lift up to 50 pounds and stand 8-10 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of all onsite subcontractors and daily field activities.
• Communicate project progress, safety, and requirements to site staff and customer representatives.
• Read and interpret plans, specifications, and applicable codes and environmental requirements.
• Lead Pre-Construction, Safety, Progress Schedule, and Inspections meetings as applicable.
• Maintain daily records of tests, inspections, progress, visitors, and schedule impacts.
• Develop, maintain, and convey the project schedule; enforce all safety rules on site.
• Oversee site logistics to keep the job organized and hazard-free.
