Job summary

JF Petroleum Group, a premier leader in North American fueling infrastructure, seeks a Construction Superintendent in Des Moines, IA to lead job-site activities and ensure safe, timely project delivery. You will supervise subcontractors, read detailed plans, coordinate with customers, and drive weekly safety and progress meetings.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and at least 3 years of field supervision experience.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in this position.
• Willingness to travel.
• Ability to operate industry tools and equipment.
• Pass drug screen, background check, and MVR as required.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of onsite subcontractors.
• Communicate project requirements to site staff for safe, timely, and profitable completion.
• Coordinate with customer or onsite representative on progress and issues.
• Read and understand applicable plans, specifications, environmental regulations, fire and building codes.
• Lead safety meetings and manage weekly job-site safety.
• Maintain accurate daily records of tests, inspections, progress, visitors, and potential schedule impacts.
• Enforce mandatory safety rules and PPE use on site.
• Develop, maintain, and convey the project schedule.
