Job summary

Environmental and Safety Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Construction Safety Associate to implement and manage health and safety practices in line with OSHA regulations and client standards on a demanding construction site.

The role requires 5+ years in construction safety, OSHA 510 certification, and strong communication. You will report to the project team, coordinate on-site training, inspections, and incident investigations while maintaining records and collaborating with subcontractors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of continuous experience in construction safety.
• OSHA 510 is mandatory, CHST preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary EHS representative for the project, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and contract requirements.
• Assist the project management team with on-site safety inspections, reporting, and training coordination.
• Conduct and document daily safety inspections of the job site.
• Maintain safety logs, incident reports, and OSHA records.
• Interface with regulatory agencies such as OSHA as needed.
• Provide ongoing safety training and toolbox talks to on-site personnel.
• Participate in incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with facility management and subcontractors to align with EHS standards.
