Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Quality Manager I to own the quality control program for a single project under a senior quality manager. You will maintain the ITP, schedule tests, and write the daily QC report.

You will also open and track nonconformances until closure, verify technician certifications, and ensure submittal files are audit-ready. This is a path to Quality Manager II with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction materials testing, special inspection, or contractor QC.
• Able to read specifications and drawings and translate into a test schedule.
• Direct, organized, and comfortable communicating with a superintendent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the project inspection and test plan (ITP) and testing frequency log against specs.
• Schedule and witness field and laboratory tests.
• Verify certifications of technicians performing tests.
• Write the daily quality control report and three-phase meeting records.
• Open, track, and close nonconformance reports with the superintendent and engineer.
• Keep submittal, mix design, and material certification files audit-ready.
